Mexico to the Extreme

A Hiking Adventure!
1 – 2 days

Embark on an epic journey that takes you to the very heights of Mexico's most formidable peaks! Depending on the season, you have the opportunity to conquer some of the country's most majestic and thrilling mountains.

Nevado de Toluca

Experience the thrill of ascending this majestic volcano standing at 4680 meters above sea level. Choose between the express option (1 day) or the camping option (2 days). The Nevado de Toluca, also known as Xinantécatl, is the fourth-highest peak in Mexico at 4680 meters above sea level. During the experience, we will explore its crater, where you can marvel at two lakes, the Sun Lake and the Moon Lake, separated by a dome of lava.

Iztaccihuatl Volcano

Reach the summit of the third-highest mountain in Mexico! The adventure begins at midnight, where we will prepare for the ascent. We'll reach the shelter to recharge energy before conquering the knees of the "Sleeping Woman," our first objective, which requires a significant physical effort. Depending on weather conditions, the ascent time, and your physical condition, we will continue towards "the chest," which is the highest peak.

Malinche Volcano

Explore the fifth-highest mountain in Mexico, Malinche. We arrive at La Malinche National Park, gather around the campfire with red wine and carajillo, then rest. In the early morning, we begin the hike through the forest with a gradual ascent that becomes steeper as we approach the paramo. Once in the paramo, we start the ascent of igneous rocks, along a fairly vertical slope. In the last part, there is a lot of loose rock as we reach the summit.

Pico de Orizaba Volcano

Citlaltépetl (Cerro or Mountain of the Star), better known as Pico de Orizaba, is the tallest volcano in Mexico, standing at approximately 5,630 meters above sea level. It is a "High Mountain'' with a conical shape, significant slopes, and a special climate at different altitudes. During the ascent, you will traverse rocky terrain and cross the largest perennial glacier in Mexico. Previous experience in high mountain conditions is necessary for this journey.
