Vines & Views:
Heart of Valle de Guadalupe

Valle de Guadalupe, Ensenada

5 days

Valle de Guadalupe has evolved into a captivating wine-producing region, comparable to those found on the slopes of the Andes or the northern coast of the Mediterranean. This charming area is responsible for 90% of Mexico's wine production. Through this journey, you will be able to experience the most beautiful landscapes and become a true wine sommelier while you delight with exquisite flavors along the way.

Day 1

Welcome to Baja!

We'll arrange for your pickup at Tijuana airport in a private transfer, bringing you to the hotel in Valle de Guadalupe in about a 2-hour ride, in which you will enjoy a spectacular view of the Pacific Ocean. We recommend making a halfway stop in Rosarito for lunch, renowned for its delicious lobster tacos. Take the day off to indulge in the hotel amenities and relax.

Day 2

A Wine Voyage

Get ready to immerse yourself in the experience of a true wine and cheese connoisseur on a four-winery route. You'll be picked up at your hotel and head to Vinícola Monte Xanic, where you'll learn about the wine-making process and indulge in a wine tasting experience. Next, visit Sol de Medianoche, an artisanal gastronomic market, to sample jams, freshly baked bread, olive oil, and local cheeses. It's an excellent opportunity to purchase regional products to take home. Afterward, head to Vinícola Las Nubes, where you'll enjoy a wine tasting with a beautiful panoramic view of the Valle de Guadalupe. Finally, the tour concludes at Vinícola Viña de Frannes, with the option to savor a delicious meal overlooking the vineyards.

Day 3

A Water Adventure

Explore La Bufadora, the largest marine geyser in North America, situated on the Punta Banda Peninsula, 38 km south of Ensenada. This breathtaking site is surrounded by picturesque ocean and mountain landscapes. The seawater spout is a result of air trapped in a cave exploding upward, often reaching 30 meters above sea level, accompanied by a thunderous noise. This mesmerizing phenomenon repeats approximately every minute, its intensity influenced by wave strength. Additionally, take the chance to acquire handmade crafts and souvenirs from Baja California and other Mexican regions at a large traditional market along the sidewalks. Subsequently, indulge in the rich flavors of regional cuisine and beverages at various seaside restaurants, all while enjoying a captivating view of the Pacific Ocean.

Or, for those seeking an adrenaline rush, embark on an adventure at El Salto, a nature park catering to enthusiasts of all ages, offering a family-friendly atmosphere. Immerse yourself in outdoor activities like hiking and rappelling, surrounded by majestic landscapes featuring oak trees and a natural waterfall.

Day 4

Leisure time

Today, take the day at a leisurely pace. We suggest cycling through the vineyards and enjoying the amenities and views of the hotel. If you're still in the mood for more wine, we'd be delighted to arrange a tour to other nice vineyards. To end the day on a high note, we have a list of restaurants where we recommend you dine.

Day 5

Back Home

Indulge in a leisurely breakfast, relax at the hotel, and make your preparations for the trip back home. We'll manage everything to ensure you reach the airport on time for your flight.
