Day 1
Welcome to Chiapas!
Upon arrival at Tuxtla Gutierrez Airport, your guide will warmly welcome you and escort you in a private transfer to the geological marvel known as Cañon del Sumidero (Sumidero Canyon), offering breathtaking views of the Chiapas region and a chance to observe diverse flora and fauna. Subsequently, you will proceed to the enchanting colonial city of San Cristóbal de Las Casas. Check into your luxurious hotel, and the remainder of the afternoon is yours to explore and discover the magic that this place has to offer.
Day 2
Explore San Cristobal
Begin your day with a city tour, uncovering the charm of San Cristobal's cobblestone streets, colorful markets, and historic landmarks. Immerse yourself in culture at the Na Bolom Museum, delving into the indigenous history of Chiapas. Later, choose between the Jade Museum, exploring jade artifacts, or the Cacao Museum, indulging in the history and flavors of chocolate. And conclude the day with a rejuvenating yoga class.
Day 3
Sima de las Cotorras and El Aguacero Waterfall
Today's journey begins with a road trip from San Cristobal to the Sima de las Cotorras, where you will be witness to dozens of chattering parakeets spiraling into the sky. You will have the opportunity to delve deeper into exploration with optional activities such as rappelling and trekking (these activities are not included). Continuing your journey, you will venture into the Cueva del Encanto to marvel at the majestic El Aguacero Waterfall. You can cool off in its crystalline waters, traverse the trails, and immerse yourself in the surrounding natural beauty before returning to San Cristóbal de Las Casas.
Day 4
Latte Art and Chiapanecan Fashion
Discover the art of latte in Chiapas, a primary coffee-producing region. Experience a coffee culture celebration, turning your latte into a visual masterpiece. Later, learn about the ancient art of waist loom weaving and try it yourself. Dive into the world of Chiapanecan fashion, understanding the significance of colors and patterns chosen by skilled artisans.
Day 5
San Juan Chamula, Zinacantan and Bar Hopping
Go on a short trip to explore the unique cultural practices in San Juan Chamula, known for its mystical church and indigenous traditions. Later, you will head to the community of Zinacantán, where you’ll visit its church and a family cooperative to observe how women work the waist loom, an ancestral art from pre-Columbian times. You will have the opportunity to enjoy a typical regional drink called pox and some delicious handmade tortillas. In the evening, indulge in a delightful bar hopping tour, experiencing the vibrant nightlife of San Cristóbal.

Farewell Chiapas!
Enjoy some leisure time to shop for souvenirs or explore any missed spots in San Cristobal, before your departure from San Cristobal to Tuxtla’s Airport, taking with you the memories of a diverse and enriching adventure in Chiapas.
