You'll have the opportunity to engage in various activities at your hotel, including bodysurfing or a rafting excursion. Enjoy a delightful evening with typical Mexican cuisine in front of the El Meco waterfall before resting.
Day 2
Minas Viejas Waterfall and Micos Waterfall
Start your day with a visit to the Minas Viejas Waterfall with turquoise pools and lush vegetation, followed by a visit to the Cascada de Micos, consisting of seven waterfalls where you'll challenge yourself by jumping from heights ranging from 4 to 8 meters. Some waterfalls have caves to explore. Dinner at the hotel will be in front of the spectacular natural masterpiece: the El Meco waterfall, feeling the soft breeze of the water.
Day 3
Puente de Dios and Tamasopo Waterfalls
We'll take an approximately two-hour journey to reach the Hotel Tantalá, the starting point for the rest of the tours. Before that, we'll make a stop at Puente de Dios, a cave formed of natural rock where sunlight enters through a crack, creating an effect of artificial lighting on the water. Here, you can observe the turquoise blue water, stalactites, and stalagmites, and swim in its waters. Later, we'll head to the Tamasopo waterfalls, a place of lush vegetation that leads to a true paradise. Here, you can enjoy a delicious lunch of your choice. Return to the hotel to rest and recharge for tomorrow's adventure.
Day 4
Rafting at Tampaon River
Get ready for the grand adventure! Today, you'll face the rapids in a level III rafting experience on the Tampaón River, the most spectacular river in Huasteca Potosina and one of the top 10 most beautiful in North America. The Tampaón River emerges from the thunderous Tamul waterfall, hence the meaning of its name, "place of thunder." Afterward, delight in a countryside meal by the Tampaón before returning to your hotel.
Day 5
Surreal Gardens and Sótano de las Huahuas
Immerse yourself in the surrealism and architecture of Sir Edward James in the municipality of Xilitla, where structures engage with the jungle, reflecting the idealistic spirit of its creator. Enjoy a local lunch of your choice, tasting Mexican regional cuisine, as well as ice cream and typical sweets. In the afternoon, enjoy the spectacle that hundreds of swifts and swallows provide on their return to the Sótano de las Huahuas (Huahuas Abyss) at sunset, one of the deepest and most marvelous abysses in Mexico.
Day 6
Tamul Waterfall
For the last day, admire the jewel of Huasteca Potosina, the Tamul waterfall, an impressive 105-meter waterfall, considered the highest in the state. On our way, we'll stop at the Cueva del Agua, a transparent pool with a depth exceeding twenty meters, ideal for diving or swimming. Kilometers upstream is the magnificent Tamul waterfall; you'll take a canoe ride appreciating a landscape of high rocky walls covered with hanging gardens formed by ferns and palms, creating the ideal setting for a new adventure.
