Xochimilco and Coyoacán

Experience the mystical sunrise aboard a trajinera in Xochimilco's canals, letting the dawn's tender touch awaken your soul in… This is a UNESCO World Heritage Site that dates back 1,000 years; you will flow along chinampas, small plots of land constructed on the waterways using Mesoamerican farming techniques. Delight in a delicious lunch cultivated and prepared by local communities and learn about their traditions. You'll also have the option to visit an axolotl farm, dedicated to preserving these mystical amphibians, known for their remarkable ability to regenerate body parts, which unfortunately are near to extinction.

Afterwards, you will visit Frida Kahlo's Blue House, the birthplace and final resting place of the renowned Mexican artist, now transformed into a museum celebrating her life.
